What are Drivers
You and I have a way of doing things that seems to be automatic.
Our automatic responses or way of functioning are called our Drivers.
Basically they’re unconscious, internal pressures that make us do or respond in certain ways and these ways of doing, (as we all know) can have good or bad outcomes. In addition our Drivers have a tendency to satisfy our inner needs rather than actual events.
He came from humble beginnings, worked with NASA, won awards, observed and wrote prolifically regarding how we as humans behave. His name is Taibi Kahler, the American Clinical Psychologist who identified five common Drivers that motivate us. What Taibi Kahler found was that these Drivers are often at the root of our dysfunctional behaviours. Those behaviours both we and those around us would like to see changed…
So, talking about change, it’s imperative to see Drivers as part of our thinking regarding the understanding of ourselves and that which we need to or want to see changed. That is why this basic test is here for you.
